Terra Vista Managment, Inc. is Hiring a Gardener Near Sonoma, CA
- Complete assigned work orders
- Operate equipment safely
- Perform irrigation system repairs
- Maintain all common-area planters, walkways and streets such that they are free of debris, trash, cigarette butts and weeds
- Mow, trim weeds and grass, rake, roto-till, etc. for new and existing landscape projects
- Trim trees
- Water plants throughout the common areas
- Make sure all plants (grass, flowers, trees and shrubs) are healthy
- Keep the washers and dryers in the park laundry room clean, sweep and dry-mop the floor, and wash the windows as needed
- Dust, sweep, vacuum and wash the clubhouse and park administrative offices
- Clean the restrooms, i.e., mop the floors, scrub the showers, toilets, trim, stall fixtures, sinks, mirrors, empty trash. Restock paper towels and toilet tissue
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks as directed by the general manager
- At least two years of maintenance or landscaping experience
- Basic knowledge of safe use and operations of common maintenance construction tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of turf and ornamental landscaping, irrigation systems, irrigation repair and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of plant nutrients and fertilization
- Follow written instructions
- Stay organized
- Prioritize effectively/sound judgment
- Effective at communicating with management, residents and co-workers
- Willing and able to learn and use new skills and implement new ideas
